Recent statistics estimate that 300 out of every 100,000 Californian will be newly diagnosed cancer patients each year, placing thousands of individuals and their families in a state of turmoil. The good news is that the JoyLife Club understands that there are many things that can be done to improve their quality of life for those battling cancer and we are committed to assisting cancer patients throughout their journey.

As a cancer survivor myself, I founded JoyLife Club because I felt that there was an absence of a cancer care organizations that specialized in the unique needs of the Chinese community within San Mateo County. Through the care and assistance of volunteers, the offering of resources, education seminars and many more services, the JoyLife Club hopes to assist patients facing cancer in a positive manner, easing the sentiment of despair and fear towards cancer. Despite having been in operation for only a short period of time, the response from the community has been far beyond our expectations. It has given us the encouragement and motivation to speed up our pace in developing our action plan for the many cancer patients who are looking for support. (點擊中國)

No one should have to fight this battle alone and the JoyLife Club is here for you and your journey.

Warmest Regards,
